Box No.2 The Watch Box

Introducing the perfect storage solution for your watch collection, Box No.2, The Watch Box. The box's top boasts a book-matched Carpathian Elm with slip-matched vertical grain Macassar Ebony all around the sides, while the top edge is chamfered to reveal a stylish Wenge detail. The separation edges of both the lid and box feature sequence matched Wenge, creating a cohesive look.
 
In the center of the front face is a book-matched Claro Walnut burl rectangle with a Wenge border mitered at the corners. This inlay is very dark, adding an exciting feature to the box as it almost hides in the surrounding Macassar Ebony.
 
The tray is Sepele with Wenge caps and features a red velvet lining. The front half of the tray is divided into three evenly sized openings perfect to house pillow cradles and special pillows, and a fourth space suitable for watch strap and bracelet storage. The saddles are fussy Wenge units joined together using exposed machined brass pins, creating a fully polished look. The cradles and pillows are removable for those who need to use the box for other purposes. The pillows are lightweight West Coast Cedar with a soft neoprene underlay, then lined with matching red velvet. The pillow ends come finished with matching polished Wenge caps.
 
Here's the fun part - the pillows sit at an angle that presents the watch faces directly at the viewer, making it easy to choose which watch to wear next. The pillows are designed to fit an average 7” wrist size.
